James Brown and the JBs
James Brown was the most popular American singer and he himself created several bands. He was also the songwriter and dancer and he could play keyboards, drums and guitars. The JBs was the band formed by him in the 70’s. The band also had other names like “The last word”, “The james brown soul train” etc. Before forming this band, James Brown also founded two bands in the 50’s and 60’s. The bassist of the band was William Collins, lead guitarist was Phelps Collins and the drummer of the band was John Starks. Some of their successful studio albums are “Food for thought”, “Breaking Bread”, Hustle with Speed”, “Doing it to death” etc.
