“The Who”: The English rock band

The Who is the world famous English rock band which is one of the old and popular rock bands of the world. The band was formed in the year 1964. Formerly the guitarist of the band was Pete Townshend, lead vocalist was Roger Daltry, bassist was John Entwhistle and the drummer of the band was Keith Moon. The band was originated from West London, England. Rock, hard rock, pop rock and art rock are some of the genres of the band. The band got the fame for their energetic live performances and they were known as the most popular influantial rock bands in the period of early 70’s. Some of their successfull albums are tommy, who’s next, face dances etc. The band released their first album “My generation” in the year 1965.
