The Police: An English rock band
“The Police” is the famous english rock band which was formed in the year 1977. The band was originated from London, England. The band is consisted with only three members. The lead vocalist and the bass guitarist of the band is Sting, lead guitarist and backing vocalist is Andy Summers and the drummer of the band is Stewart Copeland. Rock and new wave are the two genres of the band. The band started their live performance in the year 1977 and the band suddenly broke up in 1984. After a long years the band was reunited again in 2007 and recently they are performing all over the world. Upto now, the band has sold nearly 50 million albums across the world.
